The Cobb County Times, June 13 1929
Mrs Rachel Isabel Kitchen, age 87 years, died at the home of her son, Mr T A
Kitchen, in Marietta on Wednesday.  Mrs Kitchens is survived by three daughters,
Mrs L E Payne of Atlanta, Mrs L P Hollingshead of Acworth, Mrs I L Mitchell of
Cave Springs; four sons, Mr C M Kitchen of LaGrange, Mr C D Kitchen of
Cartersville, Mr H M Kitchen of Winston Salem, N. C., Mr T A Kitchen of
Marietta.  The funeral services were held at New Hope church in Bartow County on
Friday afternoon at three o'clock, Rev Gus Bond officiating.  Interment was in
New Hope cemetery with John S Dobbins & Sons in charge.
