Mrs Anna LACY was in the 35th year of her age, and had been a sufferer for two years with bronchal troubles, but bore all her sufferings with Christian fortitude. She was blessed with an amiable and affectionate disposition. A few days before her death she spoke of the happy change soon to be hers, and said if they knew how well she was prepared for that peace and happiness waiting for her they would not grieve. The community has lost an obliging neighbor, the church a faithful member, to which she had belonged a number of years. The funeral was conducted by Rev D J MADDOX. To the husband and family we extend our heartfelt sympathy. It will be remembered by many that Mr and Mrs LACY were married in Atlanta at the Cotton Exposition several years ago. Her remains were consigned to their last resting place at New Salem cemetery.
