The Marietta Journal  May 23, 1907
Mrs John R LATIMER, aged 64 years, died at the family residence at Butler's, in
this city, on last Sunday night about 9 o'clock.  She was a most estimable
woman, who, during her sickness, was patient, gentle and resigned.  She was a
consistent member of the Baptist church, and was greatly beloved by all who knew
her.  She leaves a husband, five grown children and other relatives to mourn her
demise.  Her funeral was conducted by Rev Mr DYER at the Noonday Baptist church
last Tuesday morning, and her remains were place to rest in the Noonday
cemetery.  The family have our sympathy in their grief and sorrow.
