The Marietta Journal, November 2, 1905
DIED - Mr J P LAWHON, aged 92 years, died in Acworth on the 24th ult.  He is
survived by three children, Mr R E LAWHON of Marietta; Mrs H H LOGAN of Acworth;
and Mrs Louise H WILLIAMS of Willington, Mo.  He was a member of the
Presbyterian Church and a Mason.  His funeral was preached at the Methodist
Church Thursday morning, by Rev H B SEARIGHT, and interment in Mars Hill
cemetery with Masonic honors.
