The Marietta Journal  January 25, 1900
Mrs E L LITCHFIELD died at her home in Acworth on last Sunday.  Her funeral took
place at the Baptist church on Monday, Revs DYER, BOURNE, SIMMONS and MORGAN
taking part.  She was the wife of the lamented Col E L LITCHFIELD, a well known
lawyer and hotel-keeper.  She was truly a "good mother in Israel" and her death
is deeply regretted.
