The Cherokee Advance 27 Jan 1883 p 3
Col. Litchfield of Acworth, passed from earth.  A nobler heart was never found
in any bosom, than ceased to beat when Col. Litchfield died.  He was a constant
friend, a good citizen, and a public benefactor.
