The Marietta Journal, January 18, 1894
from the Noonday County News column:

Mrs M E LOVINGGOOD, sister of Mrs J P DURHAM, passed peacefully away on the 9th
inst.  She had been afflicted with paralysis for sometime besides a large tumor
in one side.  She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Woodstock Baptist
church, and was 57 years of age.  She was interred in the New Bethel cemetery by
the side of her husband to await the resurrection of the Just.  The funeral
services were conducted by Messrs W H DEAN and L L DURHAM.
