The Marietta Journal, December 5, 1907
Mrs Sallie MACKEY died at her home near Mableton in this county on last Saturday
afternoon.  She had been in bad health for years.  She was sitting in a chair at
the time the death angel come.  She was the widow of the late Mr Jesse MACKEY,
who died about one year ago.  She leaves three sons, Fred, Roy and Raymond, to
mourn her departure.  Her burial took place Sunday at Sandy Plains.  We tender
our sympathy to the bereaved.
