died April 10 2001 at age of 96 years

Interment in New Smyrna Cemetery

Cherokee County native; service in US Navy during WW2; retired from Simmons Co.
after 48 years; member of Smyrna First Baptist Church

Survived by nephews and nieces

Additional Comments:
Thomas Reed McCOLLUM is the son of John W & Rachel Callie McCOLLUM (from census
records).  In 1910, the family is found in Wild Cat, Cherokee County, GA and by
the 1920 census were living in Smyrna, Cobb County, GA.  He married Mary Jane
AUSTIN.
