The Cobb County Times, June 13 1929
Mrs Ellen Elizabeth Megarity, age 68 years, died at the home on Roswell road on
Tuesday evening following an illness of several days.  Mrs Megarity is survived
by her husband, Mr E G Megarity; one sister, Mrs John R Burton; two brothers, Mr
J M Berry of Marietta, Mr H M Berry of Oscilla.  The funeral services were held
at the Second ????? church on Thursday morning at ten o'clock, Rev C T Hull and
I A White officiating.  Interment was in the city cemetery.  Mr Bernard Awtrey,
Mr S C Megarity, Mr J M Hartsfield, Mr C W Brown, Mr J S Nichols, Mr F P Daniel
served as pall bearers.  John S Dobbins & Sons had charge of the funeral
arrangements.
