JULY 31, 1990 LELAND MCCLURE, 79, RETIRED RAILROAD INSPECTOR
     Leland B. McClure, 79, of Kennesaw died Tuesday.
     Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral 
Home in Marietta with the Revs. Robert Lanford and Steve Moore officiating. 
Burial will be at Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Powder Springs.
     A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. McClure retired from L&N 
Railroad as a car inspector. He was a member of Kennesaw United Methodist 
Church.
     Survivors include his wife, Betty Henderson McClure; three daughters, 
Beverly Edmondson of Kennsaw, Brenda Wilkinson of Tupelo, Miss., and Barbara 
Cochran of Douglasville; one sister, Dona Jean McCurley of Powder Springs; 
five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
     The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p,m, today at the funeral 
home.
