He was a brother of Mrs T W MITCHELL, and father of Misses Lilly and Margurite NORMAND, all of Marietta. Mr MITCHELL left on receipt of the telegram announcing his illness, but did not reach him in time to see him alive. Mr MITCHELL had his remains embalmed and brought to Marietta for interment. Funeral took place October 15th. Burial services were conducted in the Roman Catholic faith, by the Rev Fr P YOUNG, S M, pastor of Marietta Mission, and Fr J E GUNN, S M of Atlanta. Interment at city cemetery. Besides his daughters and sister, Mr NORMAND leaves an aged mother to mourn his loss. He was a well-known and successful business man. He has visited his family here on several occasions, and made friends of all who met him by his pleasing personality. He was a splendid conversationalist, and very highly educated. Those agreeable attentions showered upon an aged mother were noticed by all. The sympathy of many friends go out to the stricken family.
