MORTUARY.

Mrs. Lucinda Pickens, wife of J. S. Pickens, one of the best-known confederate 
veterans in Cobb county, died at her home, 5 miles east of Marietta Sunday 
night, leaving four children, R. D. Pickens, Miss Anna Pickens, Mrs. William 
and Mrs. John Smith.  Her husband, who has been totally blind for five years 
and is 86 years old, survives her.  The remains were interred at Sardis Baptist 
churh Monday afternoon.
