MAUDIE B. POST, 84, RETIRED COOK (this death was after 1989)

Maudie Bell Post. 84, of Marietta died Wednesday, April
8. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bethany Christian
Church in Dallas, with the Revs. Jimmy Post and Steven
Post officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A Paulding County native, Ms. Post was a longtime
resident of Kennesaw and Marietta. She worked as a cook
for the former Howard Johnson's Restaurant in Marietta
for 16 years and Clark Thread Mill in the 1940's and
1950's. She was member of Flowery Grove Church of God.

Survivors include four sons. Grady H. Post Jr.. of Lithia
Springs, Jim M. Post and Raymond G. Post, both of
Marietta, and Robert C. Post Sr. of Tallapoosa; Two
daughters, Virginia L. Nelson of Kennesaw and Nadine L.
Bruce of Woodstock; one sister, Elsie George of Villa
Rica; one brother, Emmett Worthan of Villa Rica; 15
grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-
great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends until 1 p.m. today at
Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta.
