DEATH OF MRS AUGUSTA ROBERTS

Mrs Augusta ROBERTS, aunt and step-mother of Mr George ROBERTS, died of apoplexy
on Tuesday afternoon of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs George
TUMLIN, in Cartersville, where she had lived since the death of her husband many
years ago.  She was an amiable and lovable lady and often visited Mr and Mrs
George ROBERTS.  She leaves one sister, Mrs Cicero KISER, of Atlanta, and three
children, Mrs TUMLIN, Mr Ernest ROBERTS of Evansville, Ind., and Mr Eugene
ROBERTS of Washington, Ga.

She was laid beside her husband, Mr John ROBERTS, in the family cemetery near
Kennesaw after the funeral service in Cartersville by her pastor, Rev Mr McGINTY.

The pall-bearers were her grandsons, Lewis TUMLIN, Wylie McAFEE, John Roy,
Charles, and Grady ROBERTS.  Many relatives and friends came to her funeral and
burial.  Her son, Mr Ernest ROBERTS, came from Indiana and spent a week in
Marietta with Mr and Mrs George ROBERTS before returning home.  Others attending
were Mrs C C KISER, Mrs Charles MARTIN, Miss Ellen KISER, Mrs CHAMBERLIN, of
Atlanta, Mrs Henry MARTIN of Anniston, Ala., and Mrs Eugene LINDSAY of Rome.

Many beautiful flowers covered the last resting place of this dear lady who was
still very lovely with her snowy hair and rosy complexion.
