Mr SCOGGINS was a trusted employee of the Brumby Chair Company where he had made a service record of 40 continuous years. He began working at the Brumby Chair company when a young man of 20 and had never worked anywhere else. Mr SCOGGINS was a member of the Olinville Methodist church, near Marietta. He is survived by his wife and nine children - Mrs J S GARNER, Mrs A C CHALKER, Mrs L M MARTIN, Misses Pearl, Setzie, Ruby, and Zulu SCOGGINS, Messrs. Harry and Howard SCOGGINS, all of Marietta. The funeral was held at the home, conducted by the Rev John LANGLEY, of Rose Lane church. Among the many beautiful floral offerings was one from his fellow employees and one from the Brumby Chair Company. Interment was made in the city cemetery Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The pall bearers were: J T McENTYRE, E H McENTYRE, Fred SCOGGINS, C H McENTYRE, Walter JACKSON, Herbert SMITH.
