DEATH OF MRS SPINKS

Mrs Samantha SPINKS died at the home of her son, Mr A M SPINKS, last Thursday,
Nov 1, of paralysis, from which she had been an invalid for 5 months.  She was
75 years of age.

Funeral services were held Friday at 11 o'clock at New Hope Church, of which she
was a devoted member for many years, by her pastor, Rev CROW.

The pall-bearers were her nephews, Messrs Eli, Joel, Goss THOMAS, Barrie and
George BLACKWELL and Luther WYLIE.

She is survived by four children,  Mrs L F MOON of Atlanta, Messrs Dolphus,
Author and Austin SPINKS, of this place, and a host of grandchildren, relatives
and friends to mourn her loss.

Among the beautiful floral offerings was a large pillow of pink rosebuds,
carnations and chrysanthemums with the golden word on white satin ribbon,
Mother, by her children.
