On November 15th he attended the Quarterly Meeting at Acworth, on Monday following he was taken critically ill with his throat, was removed to Nolan's Sanitarium. Everything that loving hands and skilled doctors and nurses could be done was done, but it seemed that our Heavenly Father knew best. He bravely fought his sickness without a murmur for twenty-four days. His greatest desire as to be back in his home. One week before he was called to his Heavenly Mansion, he was brought back to his earthly home. He was ever humble, often repeatedly "If I don't get well, it is well with my soul." Which in our great hour of sorrow and toil. If we lived as we was taught and as he lived before us, we know his loving eyes is watching over us and his toiling hands are beckoning for us when it is ours to join Him and rest by his side.
