Mr Albert SPROUSE, son of Mr Doc SPROUSE, of this county, went to Atlanta Saturday and tanked up on "Atlanta's prosperity," and started back to Marietta on electric car line. Conductor ALLEN tried to get him to keep seated in the car, but at Love's crossing below Smyrna, when the train stopped, he insisted on getting off. He wandered around that place, and finally sat down on a cross-tie on W & A railroad and went to sleep with his head on a rail. A freight train came along and the pilot struck his head, breaking his neck. His remains were brought to Black's undertaking establishment at this place, where an inquest was held by Coroner LAWHON. The verdict was that he came to his death by his own carelessness. His remains were carried to the Noonday settlement for interment.
