The Marietta Journal, August 11, 1904
Mrs Lillian TIEPEL, wife of Mr L A TIEPEL of Houston, Texas, and the only
daughter of Mr and Mrs George W HAMMETT, died at the home of her parents in this
city on last Sunday of consumption.  She was about 29 years of age, and a most
lovable woman.  Her death is indeed a sad one.  She leaves a husband and two
children, and heartbroken parents to mourn her death.  

Mr TIEPEL arrived from Houston on Tuesday morning.  Her funeral took place
Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The interment in city cemetery.  

The bereaved family have our sympathy.
