DIED - Mrs Daisie WHEELER, wife of J Mitchel WHEELER, after a sickness of ten
days, died at 9 o'clock Sunday night, Jan 27th, at her home near Hickory Flat,
Ga.  Dr DUVALL of Atlanta performed an operation Saturday morning for
appendicitis, but reaction was never restored.  She was 25 years old, a woman of
most amiable disposition and purity of character.  But she is dead!  The human
----- has no change like that of nature.  It has no spring time.  Once blighted
in its hour of freshness, it's gone forever by the work of its spoiler.  The
dews of affection may fall and the gentle rain of sympathy be upon it, but the
still heart will never awaken into life.  She bore her afflictions calmly, and
never complained at the suffering.  She faced death fearlessly, and yielded to
the greater power without a murmur or struggle.  She was the daughter of Mr and
Mrs A J REEVES of Blackwell, Ga.  She leaves a husband and one child, and a
large number of relatives and friends to mourn her death.  The funeral was
conducted by Revs S J BLACKWELL and L M BELL.  She was buried at Kemp's cemetery
Monday evening.
