The Marietta Journal, May 3, 1906
A very pretty home marriage took place on Thursday evening, 26th ult., at the
home of the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs Perry DOBBS.  The contracting parties
were Miss Addie DOBBS and Mr Geo C HURSTON, Rev D J MADDOX performed the
ceremony.  Miss Alma MAYFIELD was maid of honor, and Mr Marshall DOBBS was best
man.  Miss Hattie HURSTON and Mr ALEXANDER attendants.

A splendid collation was served.  The Journal extends its best wishes for
happiness and prosperity to the worthy couple.
