The Marietta Journal, April 19, 1906
HATCHER - HILL

A very pretty wedding took place at the residence of Mr C R HATCHER, on Whitlock
Avenue, on last Tuesday morning, at 10 o'clock.

The contracting parties were Miss Obie HATCHER, of this place, and Mr L H HILL,
of Atlanta.  Dr C E W DOBBS performed the ceremony in his usual impressive manner.

Miss Florie ELDER of Barnesville, Ga., was the maid of honor, and the matrons of
honor were: Mrs Cliff HATCHER of Atlanta and Mrs Ralph NORTHCUTT of Marietta.

The best man was Mr WALKER of Greenville, S C, and the groomsmen were Mr BAKER
of Atlanta and Mr E R HATCHER of Marietta.

The ribbon bearers were little Miss Jeanette HATCHER and Master Cliff HATCHER.

Mrs S H HALL played the wedding march.

The house was tastefully decorated with beautiful, fragrant flowers.

After the cemetery a wedding breakfast was served.

The happy couple left on the 11 o'clock train for Asheville, N C and other points.

The bride is a most charming young lady, possessing those graces of person and
mind that adorn womanhood.

The groom is a most excellent gentleman and quite popular in his home city.

Many elegant presents were received.

The Journal extends congratulations and good wishes.
