The Marietta Journal  June 10, 1897
On Wednesday evening of last week, at the home of the bride's parents, occurred
the marriage of Miss Carrie O KITCHEN to Mr Walter H NICHOLS.  The ceremony was
performed by Rev A J MORGAN in a beautiful and impressive manner.  The
attendants were Mr Clayton LEMON and Miss Lillie DODGE?, Mr Charles RAINEY and
Miss Ella KITCHEN.  The groom is one of Acworth's most excellent and popular
young men, and esteemed for his moral worth.  The bride is beautiful and
accomplished and numbers her friends by the score.  We wish them abundance of
happiness.
