The marriage was a beautiful one in every way, but a very quiet affair, only a few of the most intimate friends having been invited. Mr J L DORSETT of Missouri was best man, and Miss Ella SMITH of Decatur was maid of honor. The bride is one of Acworth's most beautiful and attractive young ladies and a great favorite in society. Her accomplishments are many and she is the possessor of those requirements which are need to make a good wife. The groom comes from one of the most prominent families of Douglasville, and although he has been here hardly a year, he is numbered among the most popular young men of the place and has been faithful to his duty as salesman and jeweler in the store of J H Bate & Co.
