The marriage is one of considerable interest to the people of Canton, inasmuch as the groom-to-be is one of Canton's most popular citizens and successful barristers, and as the bride-to-be is also well and favorably known to many in the county. Miss MASSEY is a daughter of Mr John A MASSEY, one of the editors of the Marietta Journal, and is quite a charming and beautiful young woman. The marriage will be quietly solemnized at the home of the bride in Marietta, after which Col and Mrs COLEMAN will come to Canton and be "at home" to their many friends at the beautiful residence of Mr Zebulon WALTON on Depot street, where Col COLEMAN is boarding and has engaged a suite of rooms. In advance of this happy social event, the Advance extends hearty congratulations and best wishes for a long life of unalloyed happiness and prosperity. - Canton Advance File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/cobb/vitals/marriages/massey232nmr.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/gafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
