I George W. Johnson of said county, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, and desiring to make a disposition of my property while in life, to take effect at my decease do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. Item First. I will my soul to God who gave it, trusting in the merits of the Lord Jesus Christ for its salvation. I desire that my body be buried in Christian like manner beside the grave of my deceased wife in the Acworth Cemetery. Item Second. I will that all my debts be paid by my executor as soon after my deceased as practicable, I direct that, if necessary, my dwelling house and lot now occupied by me in the town of Acworth in said county, be primarily liable for the purpose of paying my debts and wish the fund of two thousand dollars my policy, or insurance in the Knights of Honor to be preserved intact, and divided equally among my children at my decease. Item Third. I will and bequeath the dwelling house and lot now occupied by me in the town of Acworth to my daughter, Licia Jane Johnson absolutely, subject, however, to be first liable to my debts existing at my death. Item Fourth. I will, bequeath and direct that the insurance fund, or policy of two thousand dollars in the Knights of Honor, to be realized at my deceased, be equally divided among my five children, share and share alike. Item Fifth. In the distribution of my estate, it is my will that the children of any of my children that should die before my decease, shall represent such deceased child and take equally the share of such deceased parent. Item Sixth. I direct that all other property that I may own at my decease other than that above mentioned be equally divided among my children. Item Seventh. I hereby constitute and appoint my son, John N Johnson and my daughter, Licia J. Johnson executors of this my Last Will, and said executors are authorized to dispose of my estate at public or private sale as they may deem hest, without an order of Court, nor are they required to have my estate appraised and to make annual returns, but are authorized to make a disposition of my estate at private sale and by private distribution in accordance with this will.
