Bobbye McLendon Obituary
Bobbye E. Brown McLendon, age 82, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 
13, 2010 at the Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. 
Mrs. McLendon was a homemaker and was a member of the Satilla Baptist Church. 
She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ruby Wiggins Brown and the wife of 
the late James Donald McLendon. Graveside services were held on Thursday, April 
15, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Satilla Baptist Church Cemetery near Wray, GA with 
Rev. William Pope officiating. Ms. Peggy Harper, soloist, sang "In the Garden". 
Pallbearers were: Dan Johnson, Ray Day, Mark Day, John Tuggle and Jason Johnson. 
Survivors are: daughters: Donna Jean (Ray) Day, Ambrose, GA; Brenda K. (Dan) 
Johnson, Millwood, GA; Cara (Robert) Gowan, Orlando, Fl; granddaughters; 
Kimberly Hobbs, Douglas, GA, Lori Anne Tuggle, Ocilla, GA; grandsons; Jason 
Johnson, Ocilla, GA; Mark Day, Hull, GA, James Gowan and Will Gowan, Orlando, FL 
and 4 great granddaughters. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
