Atkinson County Citizen - December 6, 2007
 Mr. Donnie Etheridge Davis, age 51, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, 
October 16, 2007 at home. Mr. Davis, a native of Coffee County, GA was born 
July 1, 1956. He is the son of the late Willie Etheridge and Nora Sue Cobb 
Davis. He was an auto mechanic.
 Survivors include, son, Christopher Davis, Auburn, AL; daughter, Annslee Davis 
of Axson; sister, Debra (Don) Stokes of Ambrose, GA; brothers, Glenn C. (Kay) 
Davis of West Green, Terry L. (Sheila) Davis, Ambrose, GA; a special friend, 
Laura Heinze; several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held 4 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2007 in the Chapel of 
Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA with Rev. Aaron Kight officiating. Lois Mills 
provided soft music for the prelude, interlude and postlude.
 Burial followed in the Douglas City Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Matt 
Stokes, Adam Davis, Charles Rowell, Mitch Yarberry, Brent Vickers, Ryan Vickers.
 Sims Funeral Home of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
