George 'Adron' Day of Valdosta, GA passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at his
residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 13, 1926 in
Coffee County, GA to George Henderson Day and Anna Mae (Jackson) Day. He was the
owner of Day Construction Company and a member of the Abundant Life Church of
God. His greatest joy was ministering for Christ through song with his gospel
group, "The Adron Day Family." Along with his parents, he was preceded in death
by two of his brothers, Rev. Edward Day and Aubrey Henderson Day, by two of his
sisters, Ruth Willene Graham, Joann Renew; by a daughter, Anna Christine Day; by
a granddaughter, April Dawn Gaddy, and by a special nephew, Kenneth Rampey.

His survivors include, his wife of 63 years, Pauline Day of Valdosta, GA; sons &
daughters-in-law, Paul Adron & Elaine Day of Valdosta, GA; George David & Ramona
Day of Valdosta, GA; Daniel Lee Day & C.C. Nardone of Valdosta; daughter &
son-in-law, Brenda Sue & Bennie Gaddy of Barney, GA; sons: Joseph Darrell Day of
Valdosta, GA; Carl Stephen Day of Valdosta, GA; Brian Stanley Day of Valdosta,
GA; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild;
brothers, James Day & Leroy Day; sisters, Delorice Wooten & Betty Carol Smith;
numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the
Abundant Life Church of God with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens,
Valdosta, Lowndes Co., GA.
