Buford Goodwin Obituary
Buford Ray Goodwin, age 59, of Broxton GA passed away on Saturday, December 25, 
2010. In the Saint Joseph Hospital, Savannah GA. Mr. Goodwin, a native of Coffee 
County, GA was born March 05, 1951: he is the son of the late Franklin and Verla 
Mae Goodwin. He is a member of the Douglas Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day 
Saints. Brothers, Willie Frank Goodwin and Sidney Edward Goodwin, Half Brothers, 
Bill Goodwin and Clayton Goodwin and half sister, Lula Bell Norman preceded him 
in death. Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Douglas GA. Burial will 
follow in the Cumorah Cemetery near Douglas GA. Survivors include: Wife, Eloise 
Goodwin, Daughter, Jessica Dawn Tanner, Douglas GA, Sons, William Frank Goodwin, 
Douglas GA, Timothy Ray Goodwin and Anthony Cleveland Goodwin, Broxton GA and 
Robert Lee Stone, Tampa FL, Sisters, Pauline Jewell, Douglas GA, Alice J. Smith 
Cropwell AL, Brother, Dewey Goodwin, McBean GA, Grandchildren, Cody Goodwin, 
Alex Goodwin, Charlie Goodwin, McKenzie Goodwin. Madison Goodwin, Chris Goodwin, 
Lauren Ortez, Ethin Parks, Austin Goodwin, Martha Goodwin, Twyla Toledo, Daniel 
Crenshaw, Erica, Crenshaw, Great-grandson, Daniel Jacob Crenshaw, several nieces 
and nephews. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
