Glenda Hartley Obituary
Glenda Faye Zanders Hartley, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 
at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Hartley 
was a member of the New Life Worship Center and she was a line worker for 
Douglas Foods. She was born on July 3, 1946 to the late Herbert and Eliza Nipper 
Zanders. She was preceded in death by sons: Jimmy Randall Davis and Edward 
Davis. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. 
in the New Life Worship Center with burial following in the Lone Hill Church 
Cemetery. Survivors include: husband: Jack Lee Hartley, Douglas, GA; daughters: 
Linda Davis and Brenda (Wendell) Smith, Douglas, GA; granddaughter: Laken Byrd, 
Alma, GA; grandson: Marcus Tillman, Waycross, GA; great grandson: Daniel Byrd, 
Jr., Homerville, GA; sisters: Varnell Maddox, Douglas, GA, Mary F. Davis, West 
Green, GA; brothers: Jackie Zanders, Lamar Zanders and Alonzo Zanders, Douglas, 
GA; stepchildren: Jackie Hartley, little Jackie Hartley, Sandra Hartley, David 
Hartley, and Donnie Hartley; several step grandchildren and step great 
grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on 
Friday, October 22. 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims 
Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
