Douglas Enterprise - March 16, 2016
 Mrs. Ruby Knight Jowers, age 66, of Ambrose, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 
10, 2016, at Coffee Regional Medical Center.
 Mrs. Jowers was born on December 7, 1949, in Douglas, GA, to the late Harris 
Knight and Ruby Morton Knight.
 Survivors include her husband, Tommy Jowers of Ambrose, GA; two sons, Jamie 
Lindsey of Douglas, GA, and Andrew (Olinda) Jowers of Ambrose, GA; two 
daughters, Terri (Michael) Joyner of Douglas, GA, and Renee Jowers of Douglas, 
GA; two brothers, Ellis Williams of Ambrose, GA, and Calvin Williams of Douglas, 
GA; four sisters, Amy Davis of Axson, GA, Sonya (Danny) McNabb of West Green, 
GA, Martha O'Neal of Douglas, GA, and Lovie Knight of Douglas, GA; nine 
grandchildren, great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at 2 p.m. at New Hope 
Baptist Church with Rev. Carroll Carver officiating.
 Music was furnished for the service by cd "Dancing In the Sky" and choir "I'll 
Fly Away" and "When The Roll is Called up Yonder" with Virginia Lewis playing 
the piano.
 Active pallbearers were Andrew Jowers, Luke Harrell, Matt Lindsey, Aaron 
Joyner, Darinel Bravo, Casey Bohannon.
 Honorary pallbearers were New Hope Church Members.
 Interment followed at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
