 Jennie Touchton Kennedy, age 95, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, May 
11, 2013, at Southern Senior Living Center following an extended illness.
 Mrs. Kennedy was born on February 22, 1918, in Douglas, GA to the late George 
Linton Touchton and Letitia Peterson Touchton.
 Survivors include , 2 sons, James “Jimmy” Kennedy, Jr. of Douglas, GA and 
Howard Kennedy of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Suzanna Ava Huff of Hiram, 
GA, Heather Renee Settle of Cumming, GA and James T “Trey” Kennedy III of 
Douglas, GA, pet and companion “Sugarbear”, six great grandchildren. She was 
preceded in death by her parent, George L. and Letitia Petrson Touhton; her 
husband, James Kennedy, Sr, two brothers, George Touchton, Jr. and John Howard
Touchton
Touchton, sister, Miriam Orr, and a great grandson, Daniel Kennedy.
 Graveside service services was held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at 4 p.m. at 
Douglas City Cemetery with Chuck Sims officiating.
 Pallbearers were John Parker, Vick Sims, Al Joiner, Johnny Morris, Lane 
Bailey, Harrison Huff.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
