Mrs. Pate was born on November 6, 1928, to the late Lee Bailey and Mary Carry. Mrs. Pate is survived by five daughters, Kathy (Tony) Brewer of Hazelhurst, GA, Shirley (Jerry) Troupe of Byron, GA, Mary Thomas of Nicholls, GA, Annette (Randy) Cribbs of Pridgen, GA and Joyce Odell of Loveland, CO; five sons J.T. (Paula) Pritchard, Bobby Joe (Peggy) Pritchard, Tommy (Cat) Pritchard all of West Green, GA, Stanley Pritchard of Nicholls, GA and James (Annette) Brantley of Baxley, GA; sister, Lois Copeland of Willacoochee, GA; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, Gary Pritchard, Larry Pritchard, her first hus husband, Bill Pritchard, her second husband, Curtis Pate and grandson, Marty Ame Amerson. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Sims Funeral Ho Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Hollis and Rev. Floyd Musgrove officiating. Interment followed at Central Baptist Church Cemetery. Music was furnished for the service by CD “Amazing Grace,” “Sissy” by Alan Jackson and “Mama” by the Cookes. Active pallbearers were Amelio Spivey, Roy Hollis, Johnny Wayne Hollis, Stanl Stanley Pritchard, Michael Lott, Bill Sanchez, Tommy Pritchard. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
