  Mr. David G. "Buddy" Paulk, age 81, of Ambrose, GA, passed away on Saturday, 
September 26, 2015, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Paulk was 
born on November 5, 1933, in Ambrose, GA, to the late Thurston Paulk, Sr, and 
Doris Anderson Paulk.
 Survivors include his two daughters, Teresa (Mike) Fowler and Clarice (Joey) 
Anderson both of Ambrose, GA; son, Thurston Wesley Paulk of Ambrose, GA; seven 
grandchildren, Kimberly Duckworth, Jason (Kathy) Anderson, Justin Anderson, David 
(Amber) Fowler, Jaeger Paulk, Daniel Anderson and Kristin Paulk;  three great 
grandchildren, Jessie Anderson, Kyle Anderson and A.J. Duckworth; several nieces 
and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Threat Paulk, and son, 
David Kimberly Paulk..
 Funeral services were held on Monday, September 28, 2015, at 11 a.m. at New Home 
Baptist Church with Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. Music was furnished for 
the service by cd "Lead Me Home," and "I'll Fly Away," with Frances Paulk Smith 
playing the piano.
 Active pallbearers were Jason Anderson, Justin Anderson, Jae Paulk, Daniel 
Anderson, Chris Coffee, Kevin Spicer, Jordan Merritt, Richard Pearce.
 Honorary pallbearers were Danny Martin, Rosa Mae Martin, Waldo Paul, Rob Smith, 
Sr., James Vickers, Earl Vickers, Eddie Rar Reives, Theo Moore, David Carter, 
Clayton Russ, Jimmy Ray Vickers, Conway Harper, Kenny Vickers, Ashley Paulk, Linda 
Merritt, Yolando Gomaz.
 Interment followed at New Hope Church Cemetery.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
