Douglas Enterprise - January 1, 2014
 Mary Edna Pharr, age 99, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Friday, December 20, 
2013, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. 
Pharr was born on July 2, 1914, in Belmont, MS to the late Bordell Waddell and 
Mae Hill Waddell.
 Survivors include her daughters; Mary Alice Torelli, Carolyn Smith and Betty 
Mullis all of Douglas, GA; six grandchildren, Kathy Cole, Pharr Mullis, Heather
Torelli
Torelli Bowen, Caroline (Mark) Roberts, Harriett (Frank) Smith and Wayne Smith; 
thirteen great grandchildren, Steven Mullis, Blake Mullis, Lee Sutton, Kari 
Sutton, Stephanie Sutton, Ivey Roberts, Michael Roberts, Hillary Cole, David To
Torelli, Laura McDonald, Dalton Stevens, Kaitlyn Stephens, and Kyle Bowen and 
several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert 
Pharr.
 Funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the 
Chapel of Deaton Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Deaton and Rev. Micah Jackson 
officiating. Eulogy given by Rev. Ron Deaton.
 Interment followed at Belmont City Cemetery. Music was furnished for the 
service by Tonya Rogers and Stacy Jackson.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
