Douglas Enterprise - January 1, 2014
 Mrs. Hildred Minix Raper, 78, of Douglas passed away Thursday, December 19, 2
2013, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
 She was born February 12, 1935, to the late Leslie D. Crane and the late Anna 
Lois Trulove Crane. Mrs. Raper, a native of Fulton, Itawamba County, 
Mississippi, was homemaker. She had lived in the Douglas area for most of her 
life. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Leslie Shea Minix. Mrs. Raper
Raper was a member of the Church of Christ of Douglas, GA.
 Survivors include, husband, Charles Raper of Douglas, GA; son, Ricky (Kathy) Minix
Minix of Jekyll Island, GA; sister, Peggy (Bobby) McAllister of Elberton, GA; se
several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
 Private graveside services and interment were held Saturday, December 21, 2
2013, at 1 p.m., at the Douglas City Cemetery, with Rev. Bill Shaw officiating.
 A special musical selection, “Blessed Assurance” was presented by the soloist, J
Judy Foskey, and the congregation.
 Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
