Mrs. Schrope, a native of Pearson GA, was born June 01, 1925; she is the daughter of the late John Wesley and Annie Thomas Cribb. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husbands Herschel Lee Baldwin and John Schrope. Funeral services were held Monday, August 23, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Douglas GA with Rev. Shep Johnson officiating. Soloist, Diskin Morgan sang, "My Jesus I Love Thee"; also, Janice Griffin, Joann Williams and Gail Thurston sang, "I'll Meet You In The Morning" and "In The Garden" with Lois Mills, pianist accompanying. Burial followed in the Douglas City Cemetery. Active pallbearers were: Joe Day, Kevin Tatum, Marvin Rains, Arlis Burch, Tommy Bates and Glyn Hutchinson. Survivors include: Son, Lee Baldwin of Valdosta GA and Daughter, Ann Baldwin Watson of Douglas GA, Grandchildren, Michael Todd (Monica) Watson, Broxton GA, Chris (Molly) Watson, Bainbridge GA, Tony Reyno, Nevada CA, Susan (Deepak) Kumar, Chapel Hill NC, Kenneth Baldwin, Columbia SC and Four Great Grandchildren.
