Nellie Smith Obituary
Mrs. Nellie Marie Harper Smith, age 88, of Willacoochee, GA, passed away at her 
home on Monday, April 19, 2010 following an extended illness. Mrs. Smith was a 
homemaker and a member of the Westwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith is the widow 
of James Gordon Smith. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 
2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Westwood Baptist Church with interment following in the 
New Hope Church Cemetery, Ambrose, GA. The family will receive friends on 
Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Sims Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
Survivors include: son: Wilson (Barbara) Smith, Willacoochee, GA; brother, Ottis 
Harper, Broxton, GA; sisters: Edith Smith, Evelyn Purvis, Douglas, GA, 4 
grandchildren, one great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Sims Funeral 
Home is in charge of arrangements.
