Ruben James Spivey Obituary
Ruben James Spivey, age 53, of Douglas GA passed away on Saturday, February 27, 
2010 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas GA. Funeral services will be 
held 4:00 PM, Tuesday, March 02, 2010 at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Burial in 
the Cumorah Cemetery. Mr. Spivey a native of Wayne County, GA was born December 
29, 1936; he is the son of the late Lavern Vining Spivey. He was a farm 
machinery mechanic. Survivors include: Wife, Elizabeth Fay King Spivey, 
Daughters, Lisa Renee (Robert) Howard, Rachael Nicole Spivey, Ambrose GA, Sons, 
Clyde Spivey, Claude Spivey & Richard Spivey, Ambrose GA, Father, James William 
Spivey, Douglas GA, Sisters, Rita Ward & Jenny Kay Spivey, Douglas GA, Debra 
Dacherman, Waycross GA, & Kathy Palmer, Broxton GA, Three Grandchildren, Nieces 
& Nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday; calling hours 6:00 Pm 
until 9:00 PM. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
