Mildred Stone Obituary
Mildred Eloise Huffstettler Stone, age 65, Brunswick, GA passed away at her 
residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Stone was born in Greenwood 
Springs, MS on September 22, 1944 to Ernest Edward and Ovella McCool 
Huffstettler. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Willacoochee, GA. 
Funeral services were held on Monday, August 9, 2010 in the Chapel of Sims 
Funeral Home with Rev. Pat McChord officiating. Music was provided by taped 
selections of the following songs "Amazing Grace", "Beulah Land" and "Go Rest 
High On That Mountain". Burial followed in the Harrell Grove Church Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were: Jack Horne, Jr., Darrell Smith, Jason Rodriquez, Allen Stone, 
Dewey Kinnon and Gary Kinnon. She is survived by the following: husband: George 
Ernest Stone, Jr, Brunswick, GA; sons: Gregory Stone and George Robert Stone, 
Brunswick, GA; daughter: Sandy Kay Smith, Waverly, GA; brothers: William 
Huffstettler and Eugene Huffstettler, Adel, GA; Billy Huffstettler, Douglas, GA; 
Dave Huffstettler, Tifton, GA; Leonard Huffstettler, Lake City, FL, sisters: 
Lorene Pingitore, Milwaukee, WI, Irene Harrell, Statesboro, GA, half sister: 
Ruth Evelyn Potts, AL; 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 3 great 
grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of 
the arrangements.
