 Timothy Satterfield “Tim” Suttles, 58, of Danny Kirkland Road, Nicholls, pas
passed away at his home on December 10, 2013.
 Tim was born in Elberton, GA on July 7, 1955. He was the son of Mr. And Mrs. Al
Albert T. Suttles. Tim leaves many, many friends.
 Tim was a Coffee High graduate of the class of 1973, and a graduate of V
Valdosta State College with a degree in marketing.
 Tim began his business career as a teenager working at Western Auto. He was a 
certified EMT and worked at Coffee Regional Hospital as a young man. Tim also 
taught school for a time at Westgreen Elementary. Tim spent the majority of his 
career as a division manager and national sales manager for Elixer Industries. A
At the time of his death he was the Human Resources Director for Brooks Auto P
Parts in Douglas, GA.
 Tim has lived in Westgreen, GA, Reidsville, NC, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA and Cr
Crossville, TN. He leaves many friends in all of these towns. Tim enjoyed and lo
loved his dog, Boy. He liked to travel and he loved his annual week at Tybee Is
Island. He enjoyed horseback riding and has owned several horses over his li
lifetime. But mostly, Tim enjoyed people and he never met a stranger!
 Tim was a faithful and active member of Lone Hill United Methodist Church and S
Sunday school teacher. Tim saw only the good in people and was a true optimist a
at heart. He was a selfless and giving person and stories abound for the many g
generous things he has done for so many people in need.
 Tim is survived by his mother, Joyce Satterfield Suttles; his brothers, Dan 
Suttles, Ken Suttles and Vic Suttles and his wife, Rose; nieces, Autumn 
Phillips and her husband Chuck, Ashl Vickers and her husband Chris, and 
Victoria Suttles; nephews, Dallas Suttles and his wife Lisa, Zac Suttles and 
his wife Rachel and Alex Suttles and his wife Kaycee. Tim is also survived by 
several grand-nephews and grand-nieces and a large extended family that inc
includes friends.
 Tim was preceded in death by his father who died on December 12, 1996.
 A memorial service was held at Lone Hill Methodist Church at 2 p.m. on T
Thursday, December 12, 2013. Visitation followed the memorial service at the c
church.
 Ricketson Funeral Home of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
