Virue Tarrant Obituary
Virue Spivey Tarrant, age 83, of Douglas GA passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010, 
at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas GA. Mrs. Tarrant, a native of 
Coffee County, GA was born April 16, 1927; she is the daughter of the late John 
Mathew & Avie Hersey Spivey & the widow of the late Dorsey Tarrant. Son, Dorsey 
Franklin Tarrant & Brothers, George Spivey & Horace Spivey preceded her in 
death. Survivors include: Daughters, Jean Carol Black (Billy) Bray, Blackshear 
GA & Sharon (Johnnie Jr.) Stevens, Douglas GA, Grandchildren, Jarred Stevens & 
Kristi (Michael) Greene & Great Grandchildren, Meagan Greene & Mallory Greene. 
Plans are incomplete & will be held at a later date. Sims Funeral Home was in 
charge of arrangements.
