Mary Vickers Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Vickers, age 84, Ambrose, GA passed away on Thursday, October 14, 
2020 at Summer's Landing following an extended illness. Ms. Vickers was born on 
June 30, 1926 to the late Elias Moore and Ada Swilley Vickers and was retired 
from teaching school for many years. Funeral services will be held in the Mt. 
Union Primitive Baptist Church on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with 
burial following in the Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors 
include: brother: Howell Vickers, Ambrose, GA; sister in law: Jessie Mae 
Vickers, Ambrose, GA; nieces: Debra Haskins and Donna Cady, Ambrose, GA; 
nephews: Dudley Vickers and Wesley Vickers, Ambrose, GA; 9 great nieces and 
several great great nieces and nephews; and a special friend: Chandra Clark. The 
family will receive friends on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 
p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
