Mrs. Watson was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Martha McKinnon Mancil and she was the widow of Robert L. Watson. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by brothers: Pearlie and William Mark Mancil; sisters: Elzie M. Troupe and Beatrice Walker. She had worked as a licensed practical nurse for forty years during which she worked for Dr. Ship, Pearson, GA in early years, Douglas Hospital and Homerville, GA for Dr. Terry. She worked the majority of years at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery. Survivors include: special nieces: Joanne T. Harper, Willachoochee, GA and Margie Mansour, Pearson, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
