Robert Williams Obituary
ROBERT HINTON WILLIAMS On Tuesday March 9th, Mr. Robert H. Williams passed away 
peacefully at his home in St. Mary’s. Fondly remembered as "Cowboy", he had 
celebrated his 80th birthday on February 16th. Survived by his wife of 60 years, 
Ida Mae Williams, both were retired from Gilman Paper Company having moved to 
St. Mary’s from Nicholls Georgia in 1963. In addition to his wife, Cowboy is 
survived by his daughter, Liz Tison of Cumming Ga, his son, Robert H. Williams 
Jr. of Kingsland, four granddaughters, Kristin Hague, Angela Tison and Heather 
Tison of Atlanta, Stephanie Farah of Jacksonville Fla, one grandson, Alex 
Williams of Kingsland, two great grandchildren and three sisters. The family 
will be receiving visitors Friday, March 12 from 6-8 pm at Sims funeral home in 
Douglas. Services will be held Saturday March 13th, 11:00 at Sims Funeral Home 
in Douglas with interment at Meeks Cemetery in Nicholls, Ga. Pall bearers are 
Alex Williams, Ryan, Josh and Michael Barnes, Ryan Hague, George Hester and 
Darren Shaw.
