                        " ITS NO FISH TALE THIS TIME "
                                    1945

When you see a bright blue boat head north toward Broxton with Dennis Adams 
aboard, the fish had better run for if past performances are any clue, the fish 
are going to be yanked from the chirming waters of the muddy Ocmulgee. The 
fishermen, left to right are Ed Adams, Dennis Adams, and W. L. Vining as they 
made their second successful trip to the Ocmulgee within a week last thursday 
and came back with this prize string. This photo was snapped after the men had 
eaten five, but the string was still sufficient quantity and quality to brag 
about. Nineteen was the exact number caught near the Milhollin Memorial Bridge 
weighing an average of seven pounds each, with the largest tipping the scales 
at 15 lbs. ( R & S Studio )
