He came with his parents Owen Vining and Eadyan Ivey Vining to Coffee County Georgia abt. 1855. His family settled in the Axson area which at that time was in the County of Coffee. His siblings names were: Rev. James Vining b. 1845, Thomas Vining b: 1848, Ellen Vining b. 1850, Mary Vining b. 1861, Vincent Vining b. 1863, and John Vining b. 1866. Bani married Martha Frances Crosby in 1874. They had these children: Agnes, Ida, Alice, Edgar, Verjal, and Tessica(?). He married his second wife Frances Jane Gillis abt. 1891, dau. of Murdock Gillis and Charity Eubanks. They had these children: Oscar, Olen, Eula, Lillie, Ellen and Melinda. Bani was a farmer and lived most all his life in the Axson area. He moved his family to Tifton Georgia to work in the cotton mills a few years before his death. He died in 1922.
