John David Spivey, also served as a Corporal in Co. E,26th GA INF with James. 
John was wounded and medically discharged at the Battle of Winchester,VA on 
Sept. 18,1864. 
He was married to Roxey Ann Wooten Spivey, their son Elijay is my G. 
Grandfather. 
John also farmed. He died in 1922 and is buried in Zephyrhills,FL 
and I placed a V.A. veterans marker on his grave in 1999.



Additional Comments:
The 4 Spivey brothers are from Coffee Co.GA. 
Daniel Patrick Spivey, James Erwin Spivey, John David Spivey & Matthew Spivey.
John David Spivey is my GG Grandfather and the other 3 are my GG Uncles.
They were all born in Coffee Co., GA to John A. Spivey and 
Martha Davis Spivey.
